Compared to last week I had a feeling of achievement. Tommy Newberry says that, “Obstacles are the raw materials of great accomplishment.” Have you ever had something you really wanted to do be good at but that thing just does not come to easy to you? I feel like the best things in life require more work. At the beginning of the week I decided I would change my leg and core day around, based off of practicing for ACE. Last week ended with me in a lot of pain due to working my legs and hips out too much. I also made a goal to do more fitness classes this week. I started the week with legs and cardio by taking Step & Tone and Express Cycle. I love the feeling of sprinting and pushing myself to go as fast as I can. Tuesday I added two more classes to my weekly schedule which were Kickboxing and 45 Stretch and I did it again on Thursday but for the stretch class my instructor decided to try and teach us PiYo. This class was a little difficult compared to a regular stretch class and yoga class. You can read a little about it by clicking the link above. If you like warrior poses and sun salutations you will like this class. PiYo goes a little faster and has specific choreo. I am looking forward to learning more about this class and maybe learning how to teach it. On Wednesday I worked on Core at Ab Attack and I practiced my Kickboxing combo to teach on Thursday night. When I got to teach my combo on Thursday I found myself able to teach it will less hiccups. I left school Thursday night at 9pm with the feeling of achievement. My practice is starting to pay of and teaching a 32 count combo is becoming easier. I am looking forward to finding myself as a fitness instructor.
